Your Sky is My Sky/My Sky is Your Sky is a traveling installation that attempts to breach the boundaries of geographic and cultural space. Consisting of large lenticular images of clouds printed on plasticore sign material, the artwork evokes the visual language of political propaganda to prompt viewers to consider shared realities across political and geographic divisions.Your Sky is My Sky is printed in one direction and My Sky is Your Sky is printed on the other (and in Spanish on the opposite side). This piece invites viewers to contemplate the spaces/realities that we might share (the sky?), as well as the impact of each of our realities on each other.
